One agent, and a plain-language promise
Lighthouse Legacy Strategies is a one-person practice on purpose. You get the person who read your paperwork, the person who compared the carriers, and the person who answers the phone when something changes. All three are me.
The industry sells products. I sell clarity.
Every financial tool has a cost, a limit and a scenario where it is the wrong answer. Most people are shown the upside and never shown where the plan breaks. Closing that gap is the whole job.
I am independent, which means no carrier employs me and no house product has to be placed. It also means the reason behind a recommendation has to hold up in writing, because there is no corporate script to hide behind.
I focus on three groups because they carry the same gaps in different shapes: federal employees with four benefit systems nobody coordinates, healthcare professionals whose coverage ends with the job, and truck drivers with no safety net at all. Anyone in Arkansas, Missouri and Texas is welcome to call.
Independent, with multiple carriers
I am not tied to one company, so I compare options from several insurance carriers and show you why one beat another instead of defending a single shelf.
Education before product
The first call has no application in it. If you leave understanding your options and decide to do nothing, that is a legitimate outcome and I will say so.
One person, start to finish
You talk to me. There is no call center, no junior handling your file, and no handoff after the sale. My direct number is the same one on every page.
Built for the way you work
Federal service, hospital shifts and long-haul routes do not fit a nine to five office. Evenings, phone and video are normal here, not an exception.
Licensed, independent, and still taking every call
Sharon Donovan
I'm Sharon Donovan, an independent life insurance and annuity agent with Lighthouse Legacy Strategies. I help families and individuals plan for what matters most: protecting the people you love and building steady income for the years ahead.
Most of the people I work with are federal employees, healthcare professionals and truck drivers. They share something: benefits that were handed to them, not chosen, and a schedule that does not leave room for a sales pitch. My goal is to make life insurance and annuities simple to understand, so you can decide with confidence instead of guesswork.

Federal Employees
FERS, TSP, FEGLI and the survivor election, read together before the paperwork deadline instead of after.
For federal employeesHealthcare Professionals
Group coverage that ends with the job, income that depends on your hands, and children whose insurability is worth locking in now.
For healthcare workersTruck Drivers
Owner-operators with no employer benefits, company drivers whose coverage ends with the job, and a retirement without a pension.
For truck driversFive steps, start to annual review
A short conversation
Income, obligations, timeline and what you are actually worried about. No product is mentioned and nothing is sold. Usually 20 to 30 minutes by phone or video.
A look at what you own
Group coverage, old policies, pension paperwork, retirement accounts. I map what each piece is doing today and where the gaps are, and you get that in writing.
Options, side by side
Two or three routes with the trade-offs written down: guarantees, access to the money, cost, and the scenario where each one underperforms.
Application and underwriting
I handle the application, the carrier questions and the beneficiary designations end to end, and you have my direct number the whole way through.
Annual review
Jobs change, families change, rules change. I review every policy I place each year so it keeps doing the job you bought it for.
What it sounds like when it works
A policy finally understood, income a retiree can count on, and a final expense plan set up in one short call.
Sharon walked me through my options without any pressure. I finally have a policy that makes sense for my family and I understand exactly what it does.
